Puerto de Mogán

PUERTO DE MOGÁN WEATHER

Choices for hotels are either in the harbour itself or slightly away from the sea-front, opposite and surrounding the Plaza Mogan commercial centre.

Much like the resort of Maspalomas, you could choose Mogán if you want to have easy access to some great restaurants and quieter bars and prefer to be away from more livelier resorts.  It is an ideal place to spend either family holidays – chilling on the beach & sandcastles for the children,  or for couples looking for a quiet get-away.

Did you know?  Puerto de Mogán has featured in television advertising campaign for a popular UK travel company.

Mogán is a town and a Spanish municipality in the southwestern part of the island of Gran Canaria.

Described by many tourist information brochures as “Little Venice” due to a network of canals and bridges, Puerto de Mogán is a charming and beautiful little town by the sea.  Small white houses with shutters and framed with colourful Buganvilla flowers line the picturesque marina and these images are often used in publicity for Gran Canaria.

A short walk from the port you can find a small golden beach next to a very small promenade with shops and restaurants where you can taste typical Canarian fish dishes.
